About The Position

The Warehouse II role primarily moves products within the warehouse and serves as a backup delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. This general labor position prioritizes and picks products to fill orders, stages products for loading, and handles physical movement and lifting of products, including tires weighing more than approximately 50 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to perform the listed physical demands, including handling tires weighing more than approximately 50 pounds.
Ability to meet the job's vision requirements, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with administrative tasks, including handling and preparing paperwork.
Assist with daily warehouse closing.
Verify incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in amount, size, and type; report inventory and supply shortages and assist with periodic inventory counts.
Prepare and submit regular reports on damaged or outdated stock, overages and shortages, and returns to vendors; segregate defective products from regular inventory.
Prioritize and pick materials to fill orders and stage products for loading.
Organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment, leaving sufficient space for overflow.
Load and unload delivery trucks, handling products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds and tires weighing more than approximately 50 pounds.
Operate powered industrial vehicles, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, safely, and maintain an operator license if required.
Perform periodic facility maintenance and custodial or housekeeping tasks, including cleaning the parking lot, loading dock, and surrounding area; keeping floors clear; maintaining bathrooms; and assisting with warehouse closing.
Serve as a backup delivery driver for non-CDL trucks.
