Wage and work place conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union. This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Requirements

  • One year industrial or commercial warehouse supplier-type experience
  • Operating experience in material handling equipment such as pallet jacks (manual and electrical) and banding equipment
  • Experience in filing systems (manual and electronic)
  • Experience in working with online inventory management
  • Experience in computer applications such as spreadsheets, database and word processing
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED)
  • Ability to physically lift up to 28 lbs. alone, walking, bending, squatting, etc.
  • Ability to work with blueprints, drawings, planning, and local instructions.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, stocking and issuing materials such as parts, tools, tool crib items, gauges, and supplies
  • Operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks (manual and electrical) and banding equipment
  • Working with filing systems (manual and electronic)
  • Working with online inventory management
  • Using computer applications such as spreadsheets, database and word processing
  • Operating and obtaining certification for the purposes of warehousing, a wide variety of material handling equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks and/or tugs, hoists, indoor cranes, stand-up and high-bay forklifts, narrow aisle lifts, platform lifts, power lifts, hand or electric carts , banders, scales, part quantity counter and any other equipment necessary to perform counts, secure or move material in order to perform their duties.
