About The Position

TruVolt Brands (Snow Joe & Jetson) is seeking a driven and successful Warehouse General Manager for its Distribution and Manufacturing center in New Castle, Delaware. This is a fast-paced, dual-mission operation that handles both consumer goods and on-site product manufacturing. The General Manager will oversee the Warehousing and Distribution aspects, including outbound B2B and eCommerce fulfillment, inventory management via RF scanning and bin-location tracking, and managing a broad fleet of heavy equipment. This is a turnaround leadership role focused on restructuring, resetting standards, restoring team morale, and building a high-performance operation from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Proven senior operations leadership in a fast-paced distribution, warehousing, and distribution environment.
  • Demonstrated track record leading change management and turnarounds.
  • Experience building a high-performance team from the bottom up: hiring, developing, cross-training, and retaining front-line and supervisory talent.
  • Mechanically inclined, with a working understanding of building code, OSHA requirements, and industrial equipment.
  • Ability to manage across three shifts and scale the workforce for seasonal peak.
  • Decisive under pressure, calm in a fast environment, and credible with both forklift operators and corporate P&L reviews.
  • Ability to hold a firm line on safety and standards while rebuilding trust.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a site that combines distribution and on-site manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with RF-scanning WMS environments and bin-location inventory control.
  • Experience managing a mixed permanent + temp-agency workforce and transitioning toward a stable permanent core.
  • Hands-on production experience — comfortable on the floor and around automated lines.
  • Hazmat / SDS handling experience in a chemical setting.
  • Heavy-equipment familiarity (turret, reach, counter-balance Forklifts) and certification-program management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Warehousing and Distribution portion of the operation, including outbound B2B and eCommerce fulfillment.
  • Manage inventory through RF scanning and bin-location tracking with weekly cycle counting.
  • Lead the site through a period of restructuring, resetting standards, restoring team morale, and building a high-performance operation.
  • Set site strategy, goals, and KPIs.
  • Serve as the final escalation point and cross-functional decision authority on the floor.
  • Directly manage Operations Managers and Supervisors, overseeing receiving, put-away, inventory, outbound, and facilities functions.
  • Diagnose operational issues, restructure site organization and staffing, rebuild trust and morale, and establish a durable, high-performing permanent team.
  • Manage site safety, service, cost, and people across all shifts and the distribution side.
  • Own the site's financials, including the labor model and the transition from a temp-heavy to a stable permanent workforce.
  • Lead the restructure by assessing the current organization, roles, and staffing plan, and redesigning for accountability and throughput.
  • Rebuild morale and culture by re-establishing trust, clear expectations, and a sense of ownership, and reducing reliance on agency labor.
  • Build the team bottom-up by coaching Operations Managers, strengthening the lead/supervisor layer, and building bench strength.
  • Communicate changes effectively to associates, making the 'why' clear and wins visible.
  • Ensure distribution execution, including receiving, put-away, inventory accuracy, and outbound processes.
  • Oversee manufacturing and blending operations to ensure safety, efficiency, uptime, quality, and yield.
  • Manage labor planning, including the volume-to-headcount model and staffing triggers.
  • Own site OSHA compliance, inspections, corrective actions, and equipment/operator certification.
  • Ensure Hazmat and SDS documentation are current and correct, and hazardous materials are handled properly.
  • Maintain the building, grounds, and mobile equipment, ensuring they are code-compliant.
  • Partner on capital and building-code matters.
