About The Position

This position will be responsible for general labor responsibilities in the Distribution Mod area. The primary function is to build pallets of product in Mods, empty trash, keep the area clean and orderly, and perform sanitation responsibilities as needed and/or required. The role also involves actively participating in team goal setting to ensure low-cost, high-quality production and striving to maximize efficiency through process improvements. Quality and safety are paramount, requiring compliance with GMPs, HACCP guidelines, and safe work practices. This role may also involve assisting in training new employees.

Requirements

Must have attention to detail in daily tasks
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

Work in Mods building pallets of product
Empty trash as needed
Keep area clean and orderly
Adhere to GMP’s in the work area and at the workstation
Perform sanitation responsibilities as needed and/or required
Other duties as assigned or required
Actively participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure that we are the low-cost, high-quality producer
Strive to maximize the efficiency of the plant/department by submitting and implementing process improvements
Ensure the quality of our products and our workplace by following all procedures and guidelines
Comply with all established GMP's, HACCP guidelines, housekeeping responsibilities, and KHMS operating procedures
Assist in training new employees to this area
Supportive of KHMS teams and processes
Perform all duties safely and use discretion to prevent injuries to self and/or others
