About The Position
American Lumper Services is a growing nationwide warehouse management company currently seeking motivated individuals to assist our San Antonio, Tx location with gate clerks.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle stress and coordinate effectively with drivers and staff.
- Attention to Detail: Critical for accurately matching cargo details, license numbers, and seals against shipping documents.
Responsibilities
- Verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and truck drivers before authorizing entry.
- Check drivers in and out, and assign specific dock doors for loading and unloading operations.
- Verify the accuracy of Bills of Lading (BOL), seal logs, and other shipping/receiving paperwork.
- Input and maintain detailed records in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Serve as the central point of contact between inbound/outbound carriers, warehouse supervisors, and the security team.
