About The Position

Ryder is hiring immediately for a Permanent, Full-Time Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Technician Lead in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly. Hourly Pay: $20.98 per hour. Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour. Schedule: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM Rotating schedule. Sunday, Wednesday Thursday one week and Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday the next week. We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment. Products Being Handled: Dry Food Products. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent PC skills in MS Office
SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

Check truck drivers in and out
Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity in accordance with warehouse direction and vendor assignment in warehouse
Verify the accuracy of all shipping and receiving documentation
Partner with the inventory department to resolve any discrepancies
Assist in appointment scheduling as needed
Update required reports on a timely basis
Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs
Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified
Other duties as required or assigned
