About The Position
Capitol Distributing is the largest convenience wholesale distributor in Idaho. Founded in 1983, Capitol delivers to retailers in Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington, California, and Arizona from its 225,000 square foot distribution center in Caldwell, Idaho. The Order Selector is responsible for picking various stock to fill customer orders.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move product.
- Ability to use an electronic scanner to pick and locate items.
- Occasional overtime to meet order demands
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in working in a warehouse a plus.
Responsibilities
- Use scanning devices to pick product and fulfill customer orders.
- Places product in totes and packages items correctly.
- Places items on sorting belt/rollers for Loaders.
- Follows safety rules for warehouse when picking an order.
- Regularly communicates with Leads and Supervisors for efficiency.
- Perform other duties and work in other areas as assigned
