About The Position
The Order Selector is responsible for picking various stock to fill customer orders. This is a full-time position with occasional overtime. Capitol Distributing is the largest convenience wholesale distributor in Idaho, delivering to retailers in multiple states from its distribution center in Caldwell, Idaho.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move product.
- Ability to use an electronic scanner to pick and locate items.
- Occasional overtime to meet order demands.
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in working in a warehouse a plus.
Responsibilities
- Picking various stock to fill customer orders.
- Using scanning devices to pick product and fulfill customer orders.
- Placing product in totes and packaging items correctly.
- Placing items on sorting belt/rollers for Loaders.
- Following safety rules for warehouse when picking an order.
- Regularly communicating with Leads and Supervisors for efficiency.
- Performing other duties and working in other areas as assigned.
