About The Position

Riverside Foods, a Lakeside Foods company, is hiring a Warehouse/Forklift worker for its Two Rivers facility. The role involves inspecting product loads, moving products and pallets around the warehouse or facility, loading and unloading semi-trailers, and supporting inventory control. The employee may load or unload materials manually or mechanically, weigh products and record production data, and operate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines. The schedule is four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, with overtime when needed on Friday.

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience is preferred, or a strong work history and willingness to learn.
• Drive to succeed.
• Maintain a safety mindset, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and work in a drug-free environment.
• Be able to manually lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Have some basic math skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely move them around the warehouse or facility to support timely and complete delivery.
• Move pallets and load and unload semi-trailers.
• Perform inventory control.
• Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
• Weigh materials or products and record weights or other production data on tags or labels.
• Operate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines.
