About The Position

The Receiving Equipment Operator is responsible for accurately putting away product in the designated locations throughout the Distribution Center. The operators utilize a cherry picker style lift and RF scanners in order to successfully complete their duties. Success in this role is driven by a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, behavioral and leadership skills, and customer focus. Requirements

• General understanding of warehouse or distribution center operations.
• Safely and efficiently operate forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment.
• Must have experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfortable with heights up to 40ft. in the air.
• Must be able to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the department, including availability for weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40ft. in the air.
• Utilize RF scanners in order to identify and locate product.
• Load staged product from dock area onto cherry picker lift.
• Move product from lift into proper location on the storage racks.
• Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals
