About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a forklift in the palletizing area for lines 1, 2, and 3. The primary duties include picking up finished pallets of product from the palletizing area and transporting them to the freezer or the shipping dock. The operator will ensure the pallet is configured correctly in the EIM system, place the header card on the pallet, and then wrap the pallet using the stretch wrapping machine. The wrapped pallet is then taken to the freezer or shipping dock. The role also includes performing other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

Forklift operator license.
Certified forklift operator.
3 months of food industry production experience in the last 2 years listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is 3 months within 2 years).
Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Place the header card on the pallet.
Wrap the pallet by placing it on the stretch wrapping machine deck and pressing the start button.
Take the wrapped pallet to the freezer or the shipping dock.
Work as directed by supervisor.
