Requirements

Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to operate forklift, hand truck and pallet jack.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
Read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents.
Balances team and individual responsibilities.
Consistently at work and on time.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One year of related work experience preferred

Responsibilities

Unloading trucks using equipment such as hand truck, pallet jack, or forklift.
Reading customer orders, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
Verifying and noting the count and condition of received cargo, determining whether to refuse or accept with notation.
Recording documents on appropriate forms and/or logbooks.
Performing forklift duties and learning to cube basic loads.
Assisting in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors and storing equipment.
Performing required before, during, and after-operation “user maintenance” and providing required reports.
Maintaining and protecting all entrusted property in excellent condition.
Scanning outbound shipments for accuracy and quality control.
Ensuring and complying with all procedures established for proper product control.
Identifying damaged items staged in outbound bays.
Inspecting outbound products for quality assurance.
