Depending on the specific role (Unloader, Preloader, Truck Loader), responsibilities may include unloading inbound carriers, verifying received product, inspecting product condition, moving and placing product in storage, reading and filling preload orders, staging product, inspecting and loading trucks, arranging products according to guidelines, using scanning devices and computers, checking printouts for discrepancies, inspecting trailers before loading, counting units against shipping documents, and securing loads for travel.
