The role involves moving controls to drive battery-powered lift trucks and transporting materials between various warehouse areas. Responsibilities include positioning lifting devices, manually loading/unloading materials, and ensuring reliable attendance. The job also requires adherence to safety and security standards and performing other assigned duties. Specific tasks for Unloaders include unloading products from inbound carriers, verifying identification and counts, and inspecting product condition. Preloaders receive and read preload orders, pick and stage product according to stacking guidelines, and inspect/load trucks using scanning devices and computers. Truck Loaders inspect trailers, count units, move products into trailers, arrange products according to loading practices, and secure the load for travel.
