About The Position
Join us at Michael & Son Services as a Full Time Warehouse Associate! At Michael & Son Services, as a Warehouse Associate, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our warehouse is clean, organized, and efficient. From utilizing company vehicles to deliver parts to technicians in the field to operating a forklift for loading and unloading deliveries to maintaining the grounds by mowing the lawn and doing minor repairs around the office. Founded in 1976, and based out of Alexandria, VA, Michael and Son Services, Inc. is the premier provider of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Restoration services in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating a forklift (certification preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with power tools
- Capability to lift up to 50lbs. and bend or kneel inside tight vehicle spaces
- Ability to follow precise installation diagrams
- Good command of English
- Must Have a Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities
- Install shelving, racks, and storage units into commercial fleet vehicles
- Operate power drills, impact wrenches, measuring tapes, and hand tools safely
- Move, load, and unload heavy pallets of inventory using a forklift
- Maintain outdoor property by mowing lawns, clearing debris, and managing trash
- Receive incoming shipments and organize parts within the warehouse
