About The Position

The Warehouse Equipment Operator plays a key role in daily warehouse operations. Primarily responsible for safely loading and unloading shuttle or transport trucks using high reach forklifts and electric pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. This role involves receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments, accurately documenting inventory movement using RF scanners or computer systems, and securely assembling and packing orders for shipment. The position also supports regular cycle counts and full inventory processes to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation. You would also you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, including picking and packing orders, and maintaining an organized and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
  • Valid forklift certification and demonstrated ability to operate high reach forklifts, electric pallet jacks, high-lift pallet trucks (scissor lifts), and other warehouse equipment
  • Ability to meet medium physical demands, including frequently lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting

  • Automotive, industrial, or agricultural knowledge is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload shuttle or transport trucks using high reach forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment to move product throughout the warehouse
  • Load and unload shuttle or transport trucks using pallet jacks and other approved material-handling equipment
  • Stage, consolidate, and organize shipments for outgoing delivery routes
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
  • Receive, inspect, verify, and document incoming shipments against invoices or work orders; record shortages and report or reject damaged goods.
  • Document shortages, damages, or discrepancies and report as required
  • Use RF scanners and inventory systems to track and update product movement
  • Assemble containers and crates, pack goods securely for shipment, and record contents manually or electronically
  • Complete regular inventory cycle counts and assist with full inventory processes, ensuring proper stock rotation
  • Restock shelves and maintain accurate inventory locations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Follow company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
