About The Position

The Warehouse Driver receives and ships packages using carriers such as UPS and DHL, helps load ICEE delivery trucks with product, promotional stock, and point-of-sale (POS) materials, and makes deliveries as needed. The role also maintains and orders POS materials for Account Executives, boxes and palletizes products for shipment, pulls orders for distributor pickup, and maintains daily and weekly inventory logs. The driver keeps the warehouse and office work areas in good condition and fills in for route drivers when the Service Center is short-handed. Some deliveries may be to cash-on-delivery (COD) accounts. The driver collects payment for the product and, when paid in cash, obtains a money order for the correct amount to turn in to the Service Center at the end of the day. The position requires regular lifting of 75 pounds or more, occasional lifting above 75 pounds, and driving more than 40% of the time. The role is based in Portland; the posting does not specify a workplace type.

Requirements

Possess and maintain a valid Real-ID Driver’s License.
Be able to lift 75 pounds or more regularly, with occasional lifting of more than 75 pounds.
Be able to drive more than 40% of the time.
Have at least two years of warehouse and/or customer service experience.
Pass a background check.
Have steel-toed shoes; ICEE provides uniforms.
Be self-motivated and able to stay on task with minimal to no supervision.
Have customer relations, interpersonal, team relations, and service skills.
Have excellent organization and time-management skills.
Be a self-starter able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Have strong oral and written communication skills and comfort performing basic mathematical functions.
