About The Position

The ICEE Company, a leader in the frozen beverage industry and the largest subsidiary of J&J Snack Foods, is seeking a Warehouse Driver in Portland. J&J Snack Foods provides branded snack foods to foodservice and retail supermarket outlets, with iconic brands like SUPERPRETZEL and Dippin’ Dots, as well as LUIGI’S Real Italian Ice, The Funnel Cake Factory Funnel Cakes, and Hola Churros. J&J also has a significant presence in the bakery sector, supplying cakes, cookies, and pies to major grocery and convenience retailers. Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid Real-ID Driver’s License.
Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 75 lbs. required.
Ability to drive more than 40% of the time.
Minimum of two (2) years warehouse and/or customer service experience.
Ability to pass a background check.
Must have steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

Receiving and shipping packages utilizing UPS, DHL, etc.
Assisting in loading of ICEE delivery trucks with ICEE product, current promotional stock, and POS (Point of Sale)
Making deliveries as needed
Maintaining and ordering POS for Account Executives
Boxing and palletizing products for shipment
Pulling orders for distributor pick up
Maintaining daily and weekly inventory logs
Maintaining work area and general upkeep of warehouse/office facility
Filling in for route drivers when Service Center is short-handed
Delivering to COD (cash on demand) accounts, receiving payment, and obtaining money orders for cash payments to be turned into the Service Center at the end of the day.
