About The Position

Distribution International is hiring a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse worker to load, deliver, and unload finished products, parts, and materials at customer locations, and to help receive, store, and distribute inventory in the warehouse. The role also involves assisting in the office as needed and performing other assigned duties. Drivers represent the company to customers and are expected to provide excellent customer service and build customer relationships. This is a safety-sensitive position. Up to 80% of work activities take place inside the commercial vehicle cab, with the remainder outside the vehicle. Shift start times vary from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
Have an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
Be able to read, write, and understand English, and use navigation software.
Be flexible to perform warehouse and office duties as assigned.
Be able to perform frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Have good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience operating a 10,001–26,000-pound vehicle.
