About The Position

The Warehouse Driver & Coordinator (Warehouse Associate) for HVAC & Plumbing plays an important role in ensuring the efficient delivery and management of essential construction materials and equipment. This position is responsible for assisting with the coordination of warehouse operations, managing inventory, and executing timely deliveries to various job sites across the DFW area. The role requires close collaboration with suppliers, warehouse staff, and field teams to maintain seamless communication and operational flow. By effectively managing logistics and transportation, the Warehouse Driver & Coordinator helps minimize downtime and supports project schedules. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall success of construction projects by ensuring that HVAC and plumbing materials are available and delivered safely and on time.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver’s license / appropriate driver’s license for operating delivery vehicles.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and driving delivery vehicles, preferably within the construction or HVAC/plumbing industry.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory management.
  • Basic computer proficiency to operate inventory and delivery tracking systems.
  • Willingness, ability, and drive to perform work to be proud to say was your workmanship!
  • Ability to be on-time to your shift.
  • Good Driving Record is a must for insurance purposes.
  • Must be 18 or over for insurance purposes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HVAC and plumbing materials and terminology.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and route planning software.
  • Certification in forklift operation or other warehouse equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse and transportation operations.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles to deliver HVAC and plumbing materials to construction sites safely and punctually.
  • Assist in coordinating daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and organizing inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Communicate with project managers and site supervisors to schedule deliveries and address any logistical challenges.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of deliveries, inventory movements, and warehouse transactions using company software systems.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Support warehouse safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflow.
