About The Position

A Warehouse / Driver Associate for Codale Electric is responsible for checking and loading material onto truck, delivering material to customers or branches in a timely professional manner, and forming positive customer relationships to ensure the correct material reaches the customer while maintaining the reputation of providing a reliable and accountable delivery service. Codale Electric Supply started in 1975 with only five employees before becoming one of the most innovative and fastest-growing electrical supply distributors in the nation. Today, we are headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah and currently have branch locations in the western United States.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
• Ability to learn use of hand-held scanners and operating systems
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Self-motivated, teamwork focused, and great customer service skills
• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs)
• Driving delivery vehicle.
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance

Responsibilities

• Making deliveries to customer job sites, shops, and other locations
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety & vehicle readiness
• Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight limitation
• Shipping and receiving products
• Filling orders in support of delivery routes
• Maintain and improve warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Order filling, including wire cutting & pipe order filling
• Safe forklift/equipment usage
• Assisting with loading/offloading freight or delivery trucks
• Able to assist with helping customers and answering phone calls when necessary
• Other warehouse duties as assigned
