We’re looking for a Warehouse Department Lead on 3rd shift to work at our Fond du Lac, WI headquarters and be part of our great team! What Moves You? Requirements

  • High School graduate (secondary schooling preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience working within a distribution center.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions may be considered.
  • Strong work ethic - must be a self-starter and willing to do what it takes to complete the task.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and execute tasks with a high attention to detail.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office (especially Excel) proficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • prior leadership role(s) is preferred
  • ERP (Epicor) experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan and set up work for your team prior to start of shift, manage email/Teams communications, staffing levels, and workload.
  • Lead shift meetings (share safety topics, production goals/results, direction for the day), cross-department communication (work with peers to ensure level staffing and priorities throughout the warehouse).
  • Actively monitor workflow throughout the day to ensure efficient, safe, and timely operations within your department.
  • Observe productivity and quality (safety, speed, standard work, packing accuracy) and give coaching/feedback as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot operational problems (personnel, inventory, fulfillment, process, ERP).
  • Maintain cleanliness standards (6S focus) including daily organization and cleaning of department area.
  • Summarize and report on daily performance (productivity, efficiency, safety, planning).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
