About The Position

LKQ Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Warehouse Delivery Drivers. This role offers opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and a supportive work environment. The primary responsibilities include operating a company vehicle for product delivery to customers and performing various warehouse activities such as parts pulling, staging, and loading/stocking of trucks.

Requirements

6+ months of related warehouse experience.
Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance.
Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (“DOT”) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”) regulations.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
Decisions generally affect one’s own job or assigned functional area.
Results are defined and existing practices are used as guidelines for how to complete work activities; works closely with supervisor/manager who provides broad guidance and overall direction.
Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.

Nice To Haves

High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Forklift certification/experience and knowledge of RF scanners are helpful.
May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.

Responsibilities

Receive labels from the supervisor for parts to be pulled for the assigned route.
Pull parts and/or PBE products from appropriate bins and deliver them to the staging area for loading.
Operate a forklift or order selector to transport parts within the warehouse.
Load truck or company vehicle according to the delivery schedule and perform a final check-off of parts loaded.
Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Respond to customer counter sales immediately by receiving orders, pulling products, and loading them into the customer vehicle.
Verify the in-stock position on product for inside sales staff.
Drive a company box truck or company vehicle to deliver salvage parts and/or PBE products to customer locations.
Physically load truck or company vehicle at the branch and verify the condition of the truck or company vehicle, manifest, and other paperwork associated with deliveries.
Drive to the delivery destination and physically unload truck or company vehicle and verify parts unloaded.
Pick up returned parts and/or PBE products and collect customer payments as necessary.
Assume other duties as assigned.
