About The Position

A cafeteria supply company in Beaumont, Texas is hiring a Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver/Installation Helper. The role includes warehouse work, deliveries, and assisting the installation team. Applicants must provide a current, detailed resume and include their current city and state of residence. This is a temp-to-hire position. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with a 520-hour probationary period; pay raises are offered. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., though hours may vary depending on the type and distance of deliveries. Some overtime is available. Applicants must complete a drug screen, background check, motor vehicle record check, and reference checks.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must be comfortable driving a truck and 26-foot box vans.
• Must be able to memorize SKUs, learn products, and stage orders based on the delivery route.
• Basic computer skills are helpful.
• A clear criminal background is required.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
• Must be physically able to repeatedly get in and out of a truck and lift items weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Drug screening, background check, motor vehicle record check, and reference checks are required.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders, stock inventory, load delivery trucks, and perform warehouse maintenance.
• Assist the installation team with projects and special deliveries.
• Learn products and SKUs and stage orders in the truck according to the delivery route.
• Drive trucks and 26-foot box vans for deliveries.

Benefits

• Vacation pay is available after one year and 90 days on the client's payroll: five days for the first year, with one additional day for each subsequent year up to a maximum of 15 days.
