Warehouse/Delivery Associate
About The Position
Tollefson's Retail Group is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse and Delivery Associate for their Slumberland location in Grand Rapids, MN. This role is crucial in assisting customers with their furniture needs, ensuring safe and efficient deliveries, and maintaining the appearance of the showroom and warehouse. The associate will be responsible for the operation of delivery trucks, including daily inspections and record-keeping, as well as moving materials within the facility using manual lifts and power equipment. Additionally, the role involves assisting with building and grounds maintenance, contributing to the overall positive customer experience.
Requirements
- Valid and insurable driver's license.
- Ability to frequently lift and move 75+ pounds.
- Must be approved for a DOT Medical Card to operate store trucks.
- Pre-employment drug testing required, including cannabis.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with deliveries to customer locations.
- Ensure safe operations of the delivery truck, including daily inspections and tracking of fluids and mileage.
- Move materials from receiving areas to designated areas, including the showroom.
- Operate manual lifts and power equipment safely.
- Assist with building and grounds maintenance.
- Maintain the display of the showroom and warehouse.
- Provide exceptional customer service on deliveries.
