About The Position

This role involves a combination of warehouse operations and customer delivery. The associate will be responsible for receiving and storing goods, picking and preparing orders for shipment, operating warehouse equipment like forklifts, and loading/unloading trucks. A key part of the role includes delivering HVAC units and supplies to customers using a large box truck. The position also requires customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and adhering to DOT regulations for driving company vehicles. Continuous learning and teamwork are also expected.

Requirements

Valid License with proper class, if applicable.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Physical activity requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, pulling, carrying, balancing, lifting, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking and hearing.
Must be able to safely operate forklift.
Must have a proven safe driving record.
Ability to work 40-45 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Pass a drug test.
Pass a criminal background check.
Have a satisfactory driving record.

Heating and Air Conditioning knowledge desired.

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse-related duties such as receiving and storage of goods.
Prepare orders for shipment by accurately picking items from shelves.
Operate and maintain forklift and other equipment.
Load/unload product from trucks.
Deliver orders to customers' businesses, including loading and delivering HVAC units and supplies using a large box truck.
Serve customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints, and adjusting orders.
Maintain a clean and organized facility and work areas.
Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company policies, procedures and standards.
Drive company truck in a safe, responsible manner and comply with DOT requirements.
Prepare logs and trip sheets as required.
Maintain vehicle in safe operating and orderly condition.
Update job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
Participate in a team atmosphere.
