About The Position

Nellis Auction is seeking a Warehouse Customer Pickup Associate to join their team. This role is crucial for customer experience, acting as the first and last impression for customers picking up their auction items. The ideal candidate is a people person who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position involves a mix of customer interaction and operational tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient pickups while upholding the company's core values of Trust, Results, Transparency, Pride, and Fun.

Requirements

  • One or more years of warehouse or customer-facing work.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Genuinely positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Dependable with excellent punctuality and attendance.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Comfort working in varying weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and load items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to assist with team lifts for heavier items.
  • Ability to stand and walk for shifts of 10 to 11 hours.
  • Ability to perform regular bending, squatting, reaching, and pulling.
  • Comfortable working in seasonal temperature extremes.
  • Possess vision capabilities necessary for order verification and safe loading (close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception).

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Schedule and manage customer pickup appointments.
  • Process refunds and resolve customer concerns courteously.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers retrieving items.
  • Safely and efficiently load customer-purchased merchandise into vehicles.
  • Verify outgoing orders for accuracy before release.
  • Use handheld scanners or mobile devices to locate and confirm inventory.
  • Maintain organized merchandise racks and consolidation areas.
  • Communicate with the broader Customer Experience team for timely pickups.
  • Assist with additional warehouse duties as directed by management.
  • Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
  • Demonstrate company core values in all interactions.
  • Maintain daily performance goals.
  • Bring a dependable, solutions-first attitude to every shift.
