About The Position

General, routine custodial and maintenance service functions within the facility. This role involves performing a variety of general custodial and maintenance tasks, specifically within the warehouse and the outside areas surrounding the facility. The position requires timely, regular, and dependable attendance, and adherence to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Good performance and safety records.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a proper manner.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to pass the motorized industrial equipment test and obtain a license.
Must be able to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap up 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to touch, grasp, handle and feel items.
High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of general custodial and maintenance functions throughout the facility, specifically the warehouse and the outside areas around the facility.
Disposal of corrugated cardboard.
Disposal of trash.
Maintaining good housekeeping in and around aisles.
Perform a variety of other housekeeping/custodial duties.
Assist the maintenance team as needed.
Operate motorized industrial equipment as needed to perform assignments such as sit-down forklift and industrial floor sweeper/scrubber.
Operate within standard operating procedures.
Adhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
Maintain timely, regular, and dependable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
