About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in buildings and facilities. The role includes operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and providing general janitorial support as needed. The position pays $16.00 per hour; the specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. Various shifts are available, including weekend-only shifts. This may be a good opportunity for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock them with necessary supplies.
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks to clean areas.
Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
Use chemical cleaners and power equipment according to proper procedures to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
Notify management when building systems need repairs or additions.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Follow company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
Complete other duties as assigned.
