Warehouse Crewmember
About The Position
Join the team behind Rosemont's markets! Rosemont's Warehouse team is at the heart of our operation, helping move some of the best local and specialty foods in Maine from our Headquarters to our retail markets. From fresh produce and deli provisions to prepared foods and baked goods, you'll work hands-on with a wide variety of high-quality, often highly perishable products. This is an active, hands-on position that's a great fit for someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and taking pride in doing things accurately and well. No two days are exactly the same-you might be picking orders, receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, loading a vehicle, or delivering products to one of our markets.
Requirements
- Enjoys working with food and has an interest in local food systems, specialty foods, and sustainable food economies.
- Is dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy and quality.
- Can manage time effectively and keep multiple priorities moving.
- Works well with others and contributes to a respectful, inclusive, and positive team environment.
- Is comfortable with physical, active work throughout the shift.
- Has reliable transportation.
- Is proficient in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Nice To Haves
- College degree preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, inventory management, delivery, food distribution, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience driving larger vehicles or working with warehouse equipment is a plus.
