About The Position

QC Supply is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse & Counter Sales Associate for our Washington, Iowa location. In this hands-on role, you'll provide customer service, assist with parts sales, manage inventory, and prepare orders for shipment. This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, averaging 30+ hours per week, with flexible scheduling options between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. About QC Supply Founded in a garage in Schuyler, Nebraska in 1982, QC Supply has grown into a nationwide eCommerce and agricultural supply company dedicated to supporting the future of farming. As a Warehouse & Counter Sales Associate, you'll support daily operations at our Washington, Iowa branch by maintaining inventory, assisting customers in person and over the phone, and helping connect producers with the products they need.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using barcode scanners.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to assist multiple customers or tasks at once.
  • Positive, enthusiastic approach focused on helpful service and strong outcomes.
  • High school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.
  • Forklift Certification: Required; training will be provided if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming products.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for safe shipment.
  • Assist walk-in customers and support equipment parts sales.
  • Answer customer calls, provide product information, and share current promotions.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and counter areas.
  • Inspect incoming shipments and enter items accurately into the computer system.
  • Place products in the correct shelf or bin locations.
  • Perform regular stock counts to help maintain accurate inventory levels and prevent shortages.
  • Greet customers and help them locate the products they need.
  • Take phone orders and answer product or service questions.
  • Explain product use and communicate current sales or promotions.
  • Restock shelves and keep the front store neat and organized.
  • Use the cash register, computer system, and standard office tools to support daily operations.
  • Assist coworkers and complete additional tasks as needed.
