About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Management System/Wave Planner in Owensboro, Kentucky. The role supports warehouse operations and distribution in a clean, organized facility, with a focus on safe operations and continuous improvement. The schedule rotates between three days one week and four days the next, with 12-hour shifts. Pay is $22.50 per hour and is paid weekly. Paid training and support for career advancement are provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting facility Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meeting or exceeding established goals for safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers to set appointments and update load statuses.
• Work with the Operations Supervisor to distribute workload properly and evenly by managing the WMS down to the floor.
• Work with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve problems with the day's orders.
• Communicate order changes and updates to the customer.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
