About The Position

The Ziegenfelder Company is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator responsible for receiving raw materials, managing inventory, and supporting warehouse operations. This role involves inspecting incoming trucks, accurately recording receipts in the WMS system, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers and carriers. The Warehouse Coordinator will also communicate daily activities and updates to relevant teams and provide support across warehouse, freezer, and shipping functions.

Requirements

  • Must have forklift experience.
  • Ability to inspect incoming trucks and follow established SOPs for receiving and storage.
  • Ability to accurately receive materials into the WMS system.
  • Ability to record all receipts in the receiving log and submit monthly reports to Finance.
  • Ability to ensure all raw materials are properly labeled.
  • Ability to record and track lot numbers.
  • Ability to verify all receiving paperwork is complete, signed, and matches delivered materials; submit documentation to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ability to coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule and manage incoming deliveries.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate par levels within the warehouse.
  • Ability to ensure accuracy of inventory by updating and maintaining WMS and inventory worksheets.
  • Ability to support end-of-month (EOM) inventory processes.
  • Ability to review production schedules at least one week in advance; proactively communicate potential shortages or issues.
  • Ability to move raw materials from the warehouse to production daily, as needed, to support operations.
  • Ability to communicate daily activities and updates to the Freezer Manager, freezer staff, purchasing, and operations teams.
  • Ability to coordinate with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery scheduling.
  • Ability to provide support across warehouse, freezer, and shipping functions as needed.
