About The Position

NCWaterHeaters.com is a growing, family-owned plumbing, electrical, and home remodeling company seeking a highly organized and dependable Warehouse Coordinator to oversee our warehouse operations, inventory, and materials flow. This role is critical to ensuring our technicians and project teams have the right materials, at the right time, without waste, delays, or surprises. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-organized warehouse that supports exceptional customer service in the field.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience (construction or trades preferred)
  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, or construction materials is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable using inventory software (Service Titan), spreadsheets, and tracking systems
  • Ability to lift and move materials (within safety guidelines)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Drug Free

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, organizing, and issuing materials within budget
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels for plumbing, electrical, and remodeling materials
  • Special orders management and process improvement
  • Implement and manage inventory tracking systems (manual and digital)
  • Perform routine inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of materials and equipment
  • Routine metal scrap management including trailer maintenance
  • Routine dump trailer management including trailer security and maintenance
  • Add and maintain material and equipment costs in Service Titan
  • Prepare and stage materials for scheduled jobs and projects
  • Coordinate with plumbing, electrical, and remodeling managers to anticipate material needs
  • Ensure emergency and high-use items are always in stock
  • Assist technicians with equipment/material check-out and returns
  • Manage manufacturer return process
  • Work with management to order materials and supplies as needed
  • Receive and verify deliveries for accuracy and condition
  • Track backorders and communicate delays or issues
  • Onboard approved suppliers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and company assets are properly stored and maintained
  • Monitor and enforce safety procedures and OSHA best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, efficiency, and cost control
  • Help reduce waste, lost materials, and unnecessary purchases
  • Document and follow standard warehouse procedures
