Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain an organized workflow.
  • Maintain a DOT Health Card [Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC)] and meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) physical and mental standards to safely operate a commercial vehicle.
  • Experience operating larger delivery trucks that are classified as CMVs but do not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), such as vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) under 26,001 pounds.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other moving equipment.
  • Strong communication skills are needed to collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and logistics
  • Strong planning and multitasking skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, flexibility and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Ensures warehouses are clean, organized, and adheres to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Create/interpret inventory reports and reconcile inventory discrepancies using Excel and/or Warehouse management software.
  • Does clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Perform physical inventories, investigate and record discrepancies.
  • Maintain records for items entering and leaving the warehouse.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards
  • Completes paperwork or forms required for documentation to receive materials and verify materials against invoices to ensure the accuracy of the delivery.
  • Enter and maintain inventory records.
  • Process requisition forms to determine items to be moved, gathered, or delivered.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or other designated areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.
