About The Position

Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial for managing warehouse operations, including freight deliveries, vendor communication, and distribution of various materials and kits to support our crews and job sites. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a technical environment, possess strong organizational skills, and be adept at managing multiple priorities.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required
• Must be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Candidate must demonstrate strong verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years warehouse experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise freight deliveries and schedule daily truck driver deliveries
• Manage a high number of warehouse products including, but not limited to, parts related to hoisting and rigging
• Handle the communication and relationships with multiple vendors
• Oversee the use of multiple fleet vehicle delivery platforms
• Supervise the local fleet of company vehicles
• Communicate effectively with all the supervisor to ensure a smooth operation of the branch
• Handle distribution of partial shipments for any necessary active job
• Lead the distribution and relocation of G2S construction kits for our crews onsite
• Oversee test-weight inventory, and the distribution of it to the required locations on a weekly basis
