About The Position

Oliver Heating & Cooling is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator, supporting our field staff and daily warehouse operations, ensuring materials, equipment, and deliveries are organized and distributed efficiently across multiple departments. This position is responsible for processing departmental requisitions in a timely matter and at times with urgency, coordinating logistics for warehouse drivers, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the Warehouse Manager with operational needs. Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record; pass criminal background check.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in warehouse coordination and managing schedules for delivery.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Computer skills (Outlook/Electronic logging systems/ Microsoft Office-general knowledge, Mobile Apps, inventory/logistics software, CRM; Service Titan experience is a plus)
  • Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to become certified)
  • DOT physical card preferred (or willingness to get one, and drive box truck as needed)
  • During busy seasons, weekend availability is required.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier loads may require team lifting or equipment.
  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, vision, hearing and climbing.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to become certified)
  • DOT physical card preferred (or willingness to get one, and drive box truck as needed)
  • Service Titan experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process requisitions from departments for materials to be pulled from inventory and allocate them accordingly.
  • Work with vendors and install crews to place material orders and/or pull materials from inventory.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with monitoring inventory levels and identifying when replenishment is needed.
  • Pull requisitions/kits for jobs scheduled for the following day, ensuring materials are staged and ready; notify the Warehouse Manager and technicians of any missing items.
  • Receive equipment deliveries, properly tag them for designated projects, and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage the logistics of warehouse drivers, organizing and prioritizing their daily deliveries for optimal efficiency.
  • Spot-check drivers' trucks to ensure they have proper equipment and materials needed to comply with safety and company standards.
  • Oversee logistical driver navigation and scheduling to support timely departmental needs.
  • Drive Box Truck as needed (will need to pass DOT physical)
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming packages from FedEx, UPS, and other carriers throughout the company.
  • Assist with opening and closing the building as needed at the start and end of the day.
  • Maintain dumpster areas and coordinate pick-up schedules with trash services.
  • Support multiple departments with various operational needs as assigned.
  • Support warehouse manager on manpower/staffing needs for weekends.
