About The Position

The role coordinates warehouse, yard, trucking, and container drayage activities; manages shipment and inventory information; and supports the receipt, packing, and release of materials. Responsibilities

Accurately enter data into the company’s warehouse management systems (WMS).
Coordinate inbound and outbound container drayage.
Coordinate trucking for less-than-truckload (LTL) and full-truckload (FTL) movements.
Coordinate with warehouse and yard operators to execute assigned logistics tasks.
Resolve vendor OS&D issues, checking as required and cooperating with internal and/or external customers.
Coordinate hazardous-material requirements, if applicable.
Retrieve purchase order data and match it to vendor packing lists.
Prepare and issue material receipts, including entering received item and quantity data.
Release materials to packing with the pertinent packing instructions and shipping details.
Provide detailed reports, stock takes, and inventory reporting.
