About The Position
Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Location: Houston, TX (16211 Air Center Blvd) Company: NOV – Wellbore Technologies (Downhole Engineering) Position Type: Hourly Position Summary NOV is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. Responsible for handling shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are processed, stored, and documented properly. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and able to work independently in a team environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented and self-motivated
- Adhere to all HSE requirements
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse/shipping experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- JDE experience a plus
- Willing to work overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Load/unload shipments using forklift
- Receive, inspect, and store materials
- Prepare, crate, and package shipments
- Schedule carriers and coordinate outbound shipments
- Maintain records in JD Edwards (JDE)
- Manage shipping/receiving documentation
- Assist with inventory tracking
- Perform daily equipment inspections
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Follow all NOV HSE policies
