About The Position
The Materials Coordinator II is responsible for the safe and accurate movement of raw materials, in‑process items, and finished goods between warehouse, production, packaging, and distribution areas. This role includes loading and unloading materials and trucks, maintaining inventory accuracy through system transactions and cycle counts, handling waste and hazardous materials, and ensuring materials are properly identified, staged, sampled, and stored in compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Must have the ability to work overtime when needed.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needs.
Responsibilities
- Locates and moves materials from warehouse storage areas to production areas as required.
- Loads and unloads materials on the shipping and receiving docs.
- Loads and unloads materials on trucks used to move items from building to building.
- Maintains accurate records of the movement of materials between buildings.
- Ensures all department BPCS and barcode scanning transactions are completed accurately and timely.
- Performs periodic inventory audits as assigned.
- Moves/transports hazardous wastes to and from appropriate accumulation and storage areas.
