About The Position

Sasco Contractors Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator/Delivery Truck Driver to serve the industrial, commercial, and institutional markets all over BC. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, tools, and supplies to job sites. The successful candidate will operate a Sasco flat deck truck with a power tailgate for deliveries and assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in dynamic environments, and brings a positive, team-first attitude.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum 1-years of relevant experience.
  • Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License with a clean driving record for the last 12 months (Driver's abstract required).
  • Excellent driving skills with the ability to maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills, with ability to plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • Familiar with the lower mainland; downtown Vancouver to Chilliwack.
  • Experience working with Microsoft products (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times with fellow employees, suppliers and customers.
  • Ability to manage time pressure, shifting priorities, and multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to follow‑up, task‑tracking, and documentation skills.
  • Must be physically fit and able to perform manual loading/unloading, lifting and maneuvering of heavy packages of 25-50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift license (an asset).
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment will be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of materials, equipment, tools and supplies to job sites, to/from suppliers.
  • Pickup of recycling and waste from job sites and take to recycler/dump.
  • Pack and load materials onto trucks according to company’s specifications.
  • Maintain records for the purpose of documenting activities and providing reliable resource information and timecards.
  • Maintain all areas clear for people to safely walk through the warehouse.
  • Receive material delivered to the warehouse and email receival confirmation.
  • Keep the parking lot clean for vehicles to park and drive into the warehouse.
  • Order materials (vacation relief).
  • Monthly vehicle and forklift inspections.
  • Sign tools in and out of the warehouse to jobs and place in storage.
  • Keep warehouse tidy, sweep, empty garbage & recycle.
  • Performs other functions within the scope of the warehouse for the purpose or providing warehousing operations, as needed.
