About The Position

Kristian Electric is seeking a Warehouse Controller to join our Edmonton branch. The ideal candidate will have experience, be intrinsically motivated, adaptable, and demonstrate a positive attitude. In this role, you will oversee all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse organization, while ensuring the warehouse operates safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Requirements

2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory management experience.
Excellent time management and prioritization of tasks to be completed.
Efficient in a fast-paced environment while being attentive to details.
Effective communicator both verbally and written.
Positive customer service attitude.
Ability to interact with clients, business associates, and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
Mathematical skills.
Punctual, reliable, and good attendance.
Safety focused and always making sure that things are done in the most ethical way.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have steel-toed boots.

Nice To Haves

Leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
Valid forklift Operator Certification an asset.

Responsibilities

Manage warehouse personnel, operations, space planning, inventory shipping and receiving processes.
Lead and supervise the warehouse to ensure an organized and efficient workspace.
Manage the accurate picking of orders and shipping in a timely manner with various couriers.
Ensure warehouse and yard spaces are organized.
Ensure Health and Safety policies are followed.
Receive and verify shipments and place merchandise into stock.
Put stock items away and re-arrange as required.
Pick, pack orders for shipping accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain warehouse records.
Load and unload trucks, check for damage or missing products.
