About The Position
Worldwide Oilfield Machine (WOM) is a premium flow control and pressure containment systems manufacturer. WOM leverages its four decades-strong design, engineering, and manufacturing expertise with an agile, solutions-driven approach to answer challenging equipment needs. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for reviewing packing lists and ensuring the correct items are shipped out to customers.
Requirements
- High School diploma or a GED equivalent or equivalent work experience.
- 6 months’ Manufacturing/ Warehouse experience
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and timely service to all customers
- Respond to customer emails and calls regarding their order status
- Provide freight quotations and transit periods as per customer request
- Prepare labels, bills of lading, SLI (Shipper’s Letter Instruction,) Consent to Screen
- Handle lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments
- File all shipping documents including packing slip, commercial invoice, Proof of Delivery
- Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Management system
- Follow all health and safety rules
- Packages /prepares orders for shipment with care, whether product is for a customer
- Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and/or material to supervisor
