About The Position

This position will work with internal customers to issue out parts from the storeroom, including accounting for parts issued during off-hours. The Warehouse Clerk will receive parts and equipment, ensuring accuracy of the deliveries, charge stockroom supply for cost accountability to correct operating department and store parts in the proper location. Also included is staging and kitting parts intended for work order execution. The position will conduct periodic review and analysis of the inventory including but not limited to cycle counting, slow moving and obsolete reviews, criticality and min/max reviews, and repair & return transactions. The Warehouse Clerk will ensure the storeroom is organized through shelf/bin and parts identification and drive improvements to Supplier Managed Inventory programs. The position will run reports for replenishment, expediting and AP matching and communicate data to Purchasing Agent. The Warehouse Clerk will manage New Stock item initiation process for facility and ensure compliance to all safety, purchasing, stores and environmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Issue out parts from the storeroom, including accounting for parts issued during off-hours.
  • Receive parts and equipment, ensuring accuracy of the deliveries.
  • Charge stockroom supply for cost accountability to correct operating department and store parts in the proper location.
  • Stage and kit parts intended for work order execution.
  • Conduct periodic review and analysis of the inventory including but not limited to cycle counting, slow moving and obsolete reviews, criticality and min/max reviews, and repair & return transactions.
  • Ensure the storeroom is organized through shelf/bin and parts identification.
  • Drive improvements to Supplier Managed Inventory programs.

  • Manage New Stock item initiation process for facility.
  • Ensure compliance to all safety, purchasing, stores and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Review production schedule for upcoming orders.
  • Support all warehouse areas including shipping, receiving, and physical inventory counts.
  • Check all damaged product/all product prior to loading and unloading.
  • Maintain excellent communication with team leaders and co-workers, particularly at shift changes to ensure efficient transitions.
  • Act as a communication link to customer service concerning the shipping status of orders.
  • Prepare finished good and paperwork per customer requirements for shipment.
  • Review, verify, obtain, prepare, and complete all required documentation; paper and electronic.
  • Prepare shipments of hazardous material (training offered).
  • Coordinate freight carriers with freight deliveries, maintain UPS/FedEx computer system, shipments/tracking, and request proof of delivery and track shipments when required.
  • Drive Company truck, as needed (CDL NOT Required).
  • Operate forklift in a safe manner.
