About The Position

Mountain State Beverage supplies all 55 counties in West Virginia with more than 2,000 varieties of wine, spirits, and craft beer. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for assigned warehouse administrative duties, including batch processing, driver check-in, repack, inventory control, metric tracking, slotting, point-of-sale processing, and other assigned duties. The schedule begins at noon and runs until completion, approximately 10–12 hours per shift, four days per week from Monday through Thursday. The position offers a competitive hourly pay rate. Most listed benefits require full-time status.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 2 years of experience in warehouse and shipping operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite.
AS400 experience.
Analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Professional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Two-year associate degree or four-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Process will-call and direct-bill orders.
Receive and process point-of-sale orders.
Cycle-count warehouse locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
Review load audits for accurate times for loss prevention.
Process repacked cases for restocking.
Enter and slot new items in the warehouse for production.
Schedule deliveries with carriers, the purchasing department, and independent carriers.
Inspect deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
Receive and sign for deliveries.
Unload deliveries from inbound carriers, including trailers, containers, dock trucks, and vans.
Process claims and returns with the warehouse, purchasing, accounts payable, distributors, and independent carriers.
Perform other assigned warehouse administrative duties, including batch processing, driver check-in, inventory control, metric tracking, and slotting.
