About The Position

As part of Rampart Supply’s distribution team, the Warehouse Associate helps improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely processing outgoing orders. The role performs inbound, outbound, and support functions as assigned by a supervisor, including order picking, staging and shipping, location maintenance, housekeeping, and grounds or facility maintenance. The company emphasizes serving customers, supporting coworkers, treating people well, and contributing to the community. The position is based in Denver, Colorado, and requires the employee to live within commuting distance; relocation is not provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or until the work is done. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One to two years of previous work experience.
Warehouse experience preferred.
One to two years of forklift experience preferred.
Must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
Must live within commuting distance of Denver; relocation is not provided.
Physical demands include continuous standing, walking, repetitive use of hands and arms, grasping, and lifting 10 pounds or less; frequent bending, overhead reaching, crouching, kneeling, pushing or pulling, and lifting or carrying up to 75 pounds; and occasional sitting, crawling, climbing, balancing, and lifting 76 pounds to over 100 pounds, as well as occasional carrying or moving over 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

Use an RF gun to pull materials and assemble customer orders from stock.
Use the packing station to place and correctly label orders on pallets or shelves.
Pack or repack boxes, palletize orders, bundle or band pipe, and shrink-wrap pallets or crates.
Meet customer specifications and verify item identifying information, quantity, and condition.
Complete housekeeping tasks and assist with building and area maintenance as assigned.
Keep shelves, pallet areas, workstations, and the overall work area neat and clean; remove debris and sweep, dust, or mop as needed.
Help organize the warehouse and work area and maintain orderliness.
Wear appropriate safety equipment and ensure supplies and equipment are in good condition.
Follow procedures, rules, and regulations, and report unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
Perform yard maintenance.
