About The Position

Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Under Armour Distribution House. Under department supervisor direction, responsible for performing clerical tasks associated with keeping the daily operations for the assigned work area on track. Performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, lift truck operation and/or manual tasks, QA and compliance tasks associated with the operation of the distribution house.

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years experience or certification/vocational training
• Has skills developed through formal training or work experience.
• Works within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify methods and approach.
• Completes assigned tasks with a moderate degree of supervision.
• Associate’s degree or High School diploma (or GED) with 1 or more years of warehouse experience.
• Experience with general office equipment (telephone, copier, printer, etc.).
• Experience with MS office, required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and dependability are essential.
• Ability to follow and give detailed instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of warehouse management software, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the maintenance of a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Assists the department manager/supervisor and teammates in achieving goals of the department.
• Facilitate the reconciliation of each bill and reviews it for overages, shortages, or damages.
• Communicate immediately and work to resolution with vendor to correct any discrepancies.
• Schedule deliveries for the inbound/outbound yards, receive BOLs, and ensure accuracy of what is arriving on the yard.
• Ensure vendor offset and compliance of deliveries and materials.
• Ensures accurate, timely delivery, and quality of all orders.
• Must be able to perform other warehouse functions as directed.
• Retrieve and place merchandise in trailers, pallet locations, and pallet racks.
• Assists with the development of efficient space planning for storage areas.
• Utilizes hand-held computers to receive daily tasks.
• To be consistently at work and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
