The warehouse clerk position is responsible for transferring inventory, assisting customers at the will-call window, answering telephone calls, entering data, performing clerical duties, processing bills of lading, and providing forklift drivers with necessary information for product movement. This role also involves order processing, inventory control, and monitoring and verifying quality assurance hold inventory on a daily basis. Duties include receiving purchase orders, transferring raw materials, allocating finished goods, investigating and correcting inventory errors, logging receipts, preparing bills of lading, and assisting customers at the will-call window. The position also requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Regulations to ensure food safety and quality. The role involves evaluating hazards and implementing procedures for a safe work environment, reporting any identified hazards promptly. Other duties as assigned are also part of this role.
