About The Position

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic professional individual to build their career with our Warehouse Department as a Warehouse Clerk. This is a dynamic role where you will be a key part of Warehouse Team with objectives including: Assist customers in researching issues and concerns. Accurately enter data, and interface with sales and operations teams, to provide solutions to customers and proactively solve problems.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience in handling a cash register, processing checks, cash transactions, and balancing a cash drawer.
  • Possesses basic math skills.
  • Possesses problem solving skills.
  • Possesses basic computer skills: Microsoft Office.
  • Makes timely decisions and sound judgements.
  • Demonstrates patience and conflict resolution skills.
  • Develop relationships and work with a wide variety of people.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Responsive to training and possess ability to apply what is learned.
  • Previous experience working in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

  • Keep working area organized and clean.
  • Promote the company’s quality products.
  • Educate customers about promotions and programs.
  • Manage third party shipping, UPS, and 3rd party carriers.
  • Promote company Food Shows, ServSafe, and customer surveys.
  • Assist with customer returns for credit or replacement of products.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer voicemails and emails.
  • Proactively seek and provide great experiences and solutions to customers.
  • Process orders from multiple methods, web, data tech, SPS, voicemail, and fax.
  • Interface with various departments and provide feedback to the Sales Department.
  • Invoice orders, manage processes with order selectors, and prioritize will call order transactions.
  • Cover other internal positions in the company i.e., customer solutions, receptionist, and front desk.
  • Required to use a cash register, fax machine, copier, and exercise proper handling of the equipment.
  • Search and identify issues and do what it takes to correct those issues while maintaining superior customer service for high profile accounts.
