Warehouse Clerk- Forklift Driver
About The Position
The Warehouse Clerk-Forklift Driver participates in daily warehouse activities and helps maintain safe, efficient operations. Duties include unloading and putting away stock, picking and processing orders, palletizing and loading products onto delivery trucks, counting inventory, and keeping the warehouse organized. The role also involves receiving, verifying, inspecting, and recording incoming deliveries and shipments; documenting and returning defective items; and following company policies, safety procedures, and quality checks. The employee follows schedules and instructions from a supervisor and may take on other related duties as assigned. Schedule flexibility may be needed to meet customer demands.
Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced work environment and use a warehouse management system.
- Ability to lift, bend, carry, push, and pull 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and temperatures.
- General understanding of warehouse operations and practices.
- Willingness to be flexible with schedules based on customer demands.
- Possess or be able to obtain the relevant license to operate equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with forklifts and/or pallet jacks.
Responsibilities
- Participate in warehouse activities, including unloading stock, counting, processing orders, and maintaining warehouse organization.
- Follow procedures and conduct regular safety checks on warehouse equipment.
- Assemble and load products accurately and promptly onto delivery trucks.
- Pick orders, palletize products, and load and unload delivery trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Record, report, and return defective items from previous deliveries.
- Accept, verify, inspect, and record incoming deliveries and shipments according to company policy.
- Follow safety and quality checks to protect staff and products.
- Follow schedules and supervisor instructions to support efficient operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
